Google Setup

Every student/family must learn how to use his/her Epic Google email address. This is because Epic uses Google applications to communicate with students and families, manage calendars, and create/manage office documents.

Students, if you are on your Chromebook, you should already be logged into your Epic account.

If you are on your own computer (or logged into a personal account), you will have to add your Epic account as a new user on your Chrome browser. Click on the profile circle at the top right of the browser window and choose + Add at the bottom. Add your name and choose a picture. Then sign in with your Epic email address (firstinitial+last initial+ID@epicccharterschools.org). If you haven’t logged in under that before, your password will usually be Epic1234. Otherwise it will be whatever you changed it to when you first signed in.

If you are a parent and need a Google address, you can sign up for one here: Gmail Signup. Although creating a Gmail account is not required, please note that you will not be able to open any shared documents unless you have access to a Gmail account. You can set up email forwarding from your Gmail address to your regular one by following these instructions. Please choose to keep a copy in your Google inbox.

When you have completed the email setup, please email me your new address so that I can add it to my address book.
